Congressman renews his call to abolish agency that “gropes and grabs” Americans

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul issued the following statement on his campaign website this afternoon, following his son Rand’s treatment at the hands of the TSA in Nashville.

“The police state in this country is growing out of control.  One of the ultimate embodiments of this is the TSA that gropes and grabs our children, our seniors, and our loved ones and neighbors with disabilities.  The TSA does all of this while doing nothing to keep us safe.

“That is why my ‘Plan to Restore America,’ in additional to cutting $1 trillion dollars in federal spending in one year, eliminates the TSA.

“We must restore the freedom and respect for liberty that once made American the greatest nation in human history.  I am deeply committed to doing that as President of the United States.”

The website also posted a picture of Senator Rand Paul talking to reporters following the incident with the TSA:

Congressman Paul has been a long time critic of the TSA. In 2010 he introduced into the House the “American Traveler Dignity Act,” which would remove TSA agents’ immunity from prosecution for implementing invasive pat-down procedures. Paul re-introduced the legislation in the summer.

Reinforcing the fact that Chris Dodd really does not get what’s happening, and showing just how disgustingly corrupt the MPAA relationship is with politicians, Chris Dodd went on Fox News to explicitly threaten politicians who accept MPAA campaign donations that they’d better pass Hollywood’s favorite legislation… or else:

“Those who count on quote ‘Hollywood’ for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who’s going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don’t ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don’t pay any attention to me when my job is at stake,”

This certainly follows what many people assumed was happening, and fits with the anonymous comments from studio execs that they will stop contributing to Obama, but to be so blatant about this kind of corruption and money-for-laws politics in the face of an extremely angry public is a really, really, really tone deaf response from Dodd.

Health freedom in the South Pacific nation of Fiji has taken an extreme turn for the worst with newly enacted government legislation that has banned the market and sale of any toothpastes that do not contain added fluoride chemicals. TheFiji Timesreports that, effective January 1, 2012, fluoridated toothpastes will be the only toothpastes allowed on the market, and that anyone caught selling fluoride-free toothpaste will be prosecuted.

Fiji’s “First Toothpaste Standard,” which is part of the country’s Trade Standards and Quality Control Decree of 1992, purports that high rates of dental cavities among Fiji’s children can be remedied through the use of fluoridated toothpaste. But rather than give residents and citizens the option to choose for themselves how to brush their own teeth, the government is using flawed and tired science to push its own totalitarian agenda.

“The First Toothpaste Standard for Fiji implies that all toothpaste sold in Fiji must have fluoride,” said Fiji Ministry of Health spokesman Peni Namotu concerning the new rules. “It includes all imported and locally-manufactured toothpaste. Toothpaste without fluoride will be removed from the shelves by health inspectors. Some companies have already removed their products but our inspectors are carrying out checks at supermarkets and shops.”

According to reports, the Fiji Pharmaceutical Society, along with the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, the Fiji Dental Association, the Consumer Council, and Fiji National University held “extensive talks” with one another to establish the new toothpaste standards, which greatly inhibit individual health freedom. But the reasoning for the ban seems more aligned with trying to “keep up” with developed nations like the US that also force fluoride on their citizens, rather than with upholding sound science.

In an interview, Ministry of Health head Dr. Neil Sharma responded to inquiries about the toothpaste rule by asking the question, “If the developed nations are doing this, why can’t we do it in Fiji?” Dr. Sharma is apparently unaware of the fact that practically the whole of developed Europe is fluoride-free, or that in all developed nations, consumers have to option to purchase fluoride-free toothpaste if they so choose (http://www.fijitimes.com/story.aspx?id=152924).

Nevertheless, Mr. Namotu in another recent interview cryptically stated that, “If anyone does not comply with the legislation, then there are legal actions to be taken, but I can’t specify the penalty now.”

There is a conspiracy of silence about the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act, otherwise known as the “Indefinite Detention Bill.”

This treasonous violation of the rights of American citizens and all human beings on “Battlefield Earth” must be understood in the larger political and historical context of the American Deep State, which professor and author Peter Dale Scott says “refers to a parallel secret government, organized by the intelligence and security apparatus, financed by drugs, and engaging in illicit violence, to protect the status and interests of the military against threats from intellectuals, religious groups, and occasionally the constitutional government,” (2).

The American Deep State has covertly created an indefinite detention regime in the United States based on acts of state terrorism and other forms of political violence such as assassinations.

The false flag September 11 attacks in 2001 and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963 stand as the pivotal historical events in the bureaucratic formation of the American Deep State and its total takeover of the American constitutional republic.

Seen from this perspective, the NDAA is all part of the plan. Its swift passage by the Senate and White House is a clear indication that the American Deep State is preparing for big events, even bigger than 9/11. Since it is a creature that feeds on drama and violence, it will produce greater drama and violence.

A basic reading of the current political and economic situation suggests that the American Deep State is in the process of triggering various domestic and foreign crises, such as a war against Iran and an economic collapse, in order to consolidate more power and control at the executive level.

A full-frontal attack on Iran by the American Deep State and the Israeli Deep State would quickly develop into a global state of emergency, which will be used by the traitors in Washington to implement their global authoritarian agenda and exercise their unchecked power against awakened American citizens more openly.

The evil monsters who own the American Deep State, and give this beast its purpose, have psychologically and spiritually separated themselves from the American people and common humanity to such an extent that they exist on a different plane of social reality. They are free to commit atrocities like the September 11 attacks not only because the laws of America don’t apply to them, but the laws of God as well.

Murder and mystery are in the DNA of the American Deep State. Since the death of JFK, it has silently suffocated the American Dream in the long night of amnesia, during which the American people were put in a state of deep sleep by the mind manipulators in the CIA and mainstream media.

What has existed under the American Deep State is what author and teacher Michael Tsarion calls a “psychic dictatorship.” Tsarion said in 2006 in a lecture in Los Angeles: “The real war is a psychic one. The real war is on consciousness. And too many people are forgetting this in this conspiratorial movement, so to speak, or in alternative history. And I will not ever make that mistake.”

In 2012, the psychic dictatorship is cracking. As a result, the American Deep State is forced to bring into being a military dictatorship in America, and that is where the indefinite detention bill comes into the bigger picture.

Thus far, the manipulators of the public mind have been able to suppress public knowledge of its crimes by its Stalinist control of the mainstream media. But they are increasingly unable to twist the meaning of events and pass off political fiction as historical truth to the American people and the world because of the downfall of the global mainstream media and the rise of reality on the Internet.

Unlike before, the majority of the American people are politically awake and profoundly distrustful of the federal government and the political leaders of both parties. Naturally, this crisis of confidence means that Washington’s political crisis is not far away.

The political crisis in Washington can no longer be suppressed and kept hidden from the American people and the world.

There’s a storm coming.

The 2012 presidential season is exposing the ugly side of politics one too many times. Now the truth is laid bare for all eyes to see.

And what do they see? An American body politic that lies buried under the empty surface of lies and political artificiality.

Machines like Barack Obama and Mitt Romney stand on the grave site, both of whom are working for a generational and treacherous political goal to overthrow the Bill of Rights and America’s constitutional republic. Their job as political leaders is to manipulate the masses and pacify political resistance from the American people to the establishment of an authoritarian global government that will be controlled by the same corrupt bankers who were behind the 2008 financial crisis.

That crisis was engineered by the big banks to bring down America, and financially bleed it to death. So far, they have succeeded. America is collapsing according to plan. But don’t count on any politician or “news” anchor to announce its death and then list the causes why.

Still, there is hope that America will be renewed. In the graveyard of nations, America’s headstone reads: The Experiment failed, but the Dream lives on.

Mental illness is a steadily rising epidemic. With nearly half of all Americans set to receive some form of diagnosis for a mental disorder, it’s hardly something that can be glossed over.

Mental health, however, is in a highly compromised state due to all forms of societal changes and technological advances over the last century.

In this modern age, many simple truths about human nature are overshadowed by our demanding lifestyle, and our propensity to gravitate toward forms of instant cures and gratification.

How the Modern Lifestyle Breeds Depression and Distress

Take clinical depression, for example; a fairly common and recognized form of mental illness. The high-stress environment of a modern lifestyle, combined with a lack of personal fulfillment or gratification will quickly lead to where many others have gone, a dark and seemingly endless pit of emotional distress.

It’s normal to have doubts, fears, and anxiety. But how are problems generally dealt with today? Either through the use of dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, (which are interestingly linked to higher rates of depression and suicidal behavior) or by suppressing the emotion with some form of entertainment or escapism.

But these are only surface-level treatments to a foundational issue. The vast majority of psychotropic drugs have been found to be more dangerous, and produce uncertain results, by altering the brain chemistry of an otherwise healthy individual. It’s no wonder that nearly all of these drugs have warnings if your depression becomes worse.

The truth is that because many people are not diligently tending to their mental health, they are easily becoming more distressed. Stress is a huge killer, and reducing stress is crucial. Proper diet and exercise alone can keep stress levels down.

Taking a break from mindless entertainment media also works wonders for those who feel emotionally distressed. Too many television shows, video games, and movies have been found to alter your mental state to a point where you are more likely to feel overwhelming levels of emotional stress.

People follow these things in an obsessive manner, but subjecting yourself to its ceaseless mental attack stops you from having a chance to actually relax and collect your thoughts properly.

What’s more is that people live in an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, without much value for human contact and stimulation. Sometimes, you need to simply talk and connect with people. Talking out problems and concerns often allows you to properly orient yourself to deal with them.

Jerusalem Post article implies US will stage provocation to justify military assault

Former Israeli intelligence officer Avi Perry writes that a “surprise” Pearl Harbor-style Iranian attack on an American warship in the Persian Gulf will provide the pretext for the US to launch all-out warfare against Iran.

Given the fact that former Vice President Dick Cheney’s office openly considered staging a false flag attack on a US vessel in the Persian Gulf to blame it on Iran as a pretext for war, Perry’s summation of how “2012 will see to a new war,” cannot be taken lightly.

Under the headline ‘The looming war with Iran‘, Perry writes;

Iran, just like Nazi Germany in the 1940s, will take the initiative and “help” the US president and the American public make up their mind by making the first move, by attacking a US aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.

The Iranian attack on an American military vessel will serve as a justification and a pretext for a retaliatory move by the US military against the Iranian regime. The target would not be Iran’s nuclear facilities. The US would retaliate by attacking Iran’s navy, their military installations, missile silos, airfields. The US would target Iran’s ability to retaliate, to close down the Strait of Hormuz. The US would then follow by targeting the regime itself.

Elimination of Iran’s nuclear facilities? Yes. This part would turn out to be the final act, the grand finale. It might have been the major target, had the US initiated the attack. However, under this “Pearl Harbor” scenario, in which Iran had launched a “surprise” attack on the US navy, the US would have the perfect rationalization to finish them off, to put an end to this ugly game.

Perry’s use of quotation marks around the word “surprise” comes across as a literary device to imply that the so-called “surprise” attack will not be a surprise at all.

Of course, the Pearl Harbor attack, which provided the pretext for America’s formal entry into World War Two, was not a “surprise” by any means, it was known well ahead of time.

Released Freedom of Information Act files prove that weeks before the December 7 attack by the Japanese, the United States Navy had intercepted eighty-three messages from Admiral Yamamoto which gave them details of precisely when and where the attack would take place.

It’s also completely nonsensical that Iran would actively seek to provide the world’s pre-eminent nuclear superpower with an easy excuse to justify an attack by deliberately targeting US warships in the Persian Gulf. Perry’s article seems to be a tongue-in-cheek admission that the US or Israel will manufacture such an attack.

This presumption need not delve into the murky realm of conspiracy theories – history tells us that fake naval attacks have been staged on numerous occasions to hoodwink the American people into supporting wars of aggression.

Remember the Maine? The battleship USS Maine blew up while it was stationed in Havana harbor in February 1898. Although a Navy investigation could not find the cause of the explosion, the American media, led by pioneer of “yellow journalism” William Randolph Hearst, immediately blamed Spanish saboteurs, whipping the public into a war fever.

When Hearst sent his reporter Frederick Remington to investigate, little of note could be established about the disaster. When Remington asked to be recalled, Hearst told him, “Please remain. You furnish the pictures, I’ll furnish the war.”

“Hundreds of editorials demanded that the Maine and American honor be avenged. Many Americans agreed. Soon a rallying cry could be heard everywhere — in the papers, on the streets, and in the halls of Congress: “Remember the Maine! To hell with Spain.”

As a result of an incident that many consider to either be an accident or a deliberate false flag attack by the US on its own ship, the US was at war with Spain within months.

Over 60 years later, another staged naval event, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, was used as a pretext for the United States to launch the Vietnam war.

President Johnson told the American public that North Vietnamese torpedo boats launched an “unprovoked attack” against a U.S. destroyer on “routine patrol” in the Tonkin Gulf. Leaked cables and recordings of White House telephone conversations later proved that the incident was completely manufactured, and that “our destroyers were just shooting at phantom targets — there were no PT boats there,” according to Navy squadron commander James Stockdale, who was flying over the scene that night.

There was almost a 21st century version mirror of the Gulf of Tonkin incident in January 2008, when the US government announced that it had been “moments” away from opening fire on a group of Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz after the boats allegedly broadcast a warning that they were about to attack a US vessel.

The Iranian warning later turned out to be of dubious origin, but the incident led to a discussion in Vice-President Dick Cheney’s office about how to start a war with Iran by launching a false flag attack at sea, according to Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh.

The January 2008 Strait of Hormuz incident taught Cheney and other administration insiders that, “If you get the right incident, the American public will support it”. Hersh said: “There were a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war. The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build, we in ‘our shipyard’, – build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up. Might cost some lives”.

Given the dangerous nature of overlapping Iranian and US/Israeli naval drills set to take place in the same region at some point within the next two weeks, the potential for another staged incident at sea that will be exploited as a pretext for war remains a potent threat.
