Obama on Libya: “I Don’t Even Have to Get to the Constitutional Question”

During his speech yesterday, Barack obama delivered probably the most arrogant statement thus far betraying his open hostility to the rule of law as it applies to his administration’s illegal war on Libya, churlishly dismissing criticism from Congress and remarking, “I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question.”
.”Speaking to CNN, Congressman Ron Paul reacted to obama’s disregard for the Constitution by labeling his claim, “A horrible statement.”
“You take an oath of office to obey the Constitution… the Constitution is very clear, you don’t go to war without a declaration,” said Paul.
But should obama’s rampant hypocrisy really surprise us? This is the Nobel Peace Laureate who has more U.S. troops deployed than at any time under George W. Bush. This is a man who came to power promising to end war yet has involved the United States in more conflicts than Bush ever presided over.
obama has used word games and mental gymnastics to claim he hasn’t violated the War Powers Resolution. Even as universities, apartment blocks and marketplaces are bombed, killing innocent civilians, communications are blocked, and even as top admirals now admit that the scope of the mission is all about regime change, the obama administration still clings to the ludicrous fallacy that the bombardment of Libya is not a war.
Indeed, the White House itself characterized the goal in Libya as “installing a democratic system,” a euphemism for regime change, acknowleding that the agenda goes far beyond “protecting civilians,” as obama claimed during his March 19 speech.
White House Counsel Bob Bauer claims that because the US and NATO has reserved its campaign to air strikes, relying on Al-Qaeda terrorists to do the dirty work on the ground (aided by US, British and French Special Forces), this means that the US is “not engaged in sustained fighting.” In other words, because the conflict is pretty much of a turkey shoot so far, with Gaddafi unable to zap fighter jets out of the sky, that turns an act of aggressive warfare into a loving exercise of peaceful slaughter.
Barack obama, the Nobel Peace Laureate, committed U.S. forces to the bombardment promising it would “last days not weeks.” Three months and a billion dollars later and obama is now preparing to do the one thing he explicitly promised not to – send in ground troops – because the NATO and US-backed Al-Qaeda terrorists just aren’t getting the job done properly.
Having ignored his own constitutional lawyers on the legality of the conquest, obama then set about doing something else he promised was not on the agenda – targeting Gaddafi directly for assassination and regime change. NATO bombs have thus far failed to accomplish that feat, but killing Gaddafi’s three grandchildren on May 1st was at least a consolation.
It’s abundantly clear that obama’s arrogance betrays a President who lives in a world of complete make-believe, thinking his loyalties lie with the UN and NATO and that Congress can go whistle. Unsurprising therefore that during the same speech yesterday obama chacracterized the people who will be hit by his tax increases, those who earn $250,000 a year, as “private jet owners,” another example of his strident delusion.
Three years ago, before obama had even defeated McCain for the presidency, we foresaw how this corporate marketing creation would be used to front a new wave of “humanitarian” wars sold on false pretenses.

Brit Homeowner Arrested After He Kills Intruder

A suspected burglar is believed to have been stabbed to death by a homeowner trying to protect his property, it emerged today.
The alleged intruder is said to have been part of a balaclava-clad gang trying to break into a house in Salford, Greater Manchester, just before midnight last night.
The 26-year-old died from fatal knife wounds after being carried away from the property by three men who are said to be members of the gang.

Supremes Rule EPA Final Arbiter on Carbon Dioxide

On Monday the Supreme Court blocked a federal lawsuit launched by conservation groups to force power plants to reduce so-called greenhouse gases. The ruling was 8-0.
The lawsuit targeted four private companies and the federal Tennessee Valley Authority. The private defendants in the suit are American Electric Power Co. of Ohio, Cinergy Co., now part of Duke energy Corp. of North Carolina; Southern Co. Inc. of Georgia, and Xcel energy Inc. of Minnesota, reports the Associated Press.
According to the high court, only the Environmental Protection Agency has the authority to mandate a reduction in emissions. In December, the EPA said it will issue new regulations next year on power plants and carbon dioxide.
The court said the states and conservation groups can appeal in federal court under the Clean Air Act if they object to any eventual decision made by the EPA.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, writing for the court, said the Clean Air Act gives the EPA authority to regulate carbon-dioxide emissions from power plants, not the states and the courts. Ginsburg is opposed to “control of greenhouse gas emissions by federal judges.”
In 2007, the court ruled that under the Clean Air Act carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are air pollutants. In a 5-4 vote, the court ruled that the EPA has the authority to regulate emissions from new cars and trucks. The same reasoning, the court argued, applies to power plants.
In 2009, the EPA issued its “endangerment finding” that would allow the federal agency to use the federal Clean Air Act to regulate carbon-dioxide emissions. The EPA ruling and enforcement “could result in a top-down command-and-control regime that will choke off growth by adding new mandates to virtually every major construction and renovation project,” U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Donohue said at the time. “The devil will be in the details, and we look forward to working with the government to ensure we don’t stifle our economic recovery.”
In February, we reported that the obama administration was targeting the coal industry as a major contributor to the theory of man-made global warming.
“The rolling blackouts now being implemented in Texas and across the country as record cold weather grips the United States are a direct consequence of the obama administration’s agenda to lay siege to the coal industry, launch a takeover of infrastructure under the contrived global warming scam, and help usher in the post-industrial collapse of America,” Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson wrote in early February.
At the time, local environmental officials in Texas were involved in a fight with the EPA after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality approved an air permit for the $3.2 billion Las Brisas energy Center despite a formal EPA request that the commission “delay issuing the permit until EPA’s concerns about the plant’s emissions impacts are fully addressed.”
“The obama administration is conducting industrial warfare against the United States. obama’s 2008 promise to ‘bankrupt’ the coal industry by placing suffocating restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions even as China and other countries are given free reign to pollute at will is now coming to fruition,” Jones and Watson wrote. “This is all part of the ‘post-industrial revolution’ that the global elite have promised to enforce as a means of turning the United States into a decaying banana republic.”
The Supreme Court’s ruling on Monday signals a move to give the federal agency more authority to impose restrictions on the states under the guise of global warming.

Our investigation of the purported obama birth certificate released by Hawaiian authorities today reveals the document is a shoddily contrived hoax. Infowars.com computer specialists dismissed the document as a fraud soon after examining it.

Upon first inspection, the document appears to be a photocopy taken from state records and printed on official green paper. However, when the government released PDF is taken into the image editing program Adobe Illustrator, we discover a number of separate elements that reveal the document is not a single scan on paper, as one might surmise. Elements are placed in layers or editing boxes over the scan and green textured paper, which is to say the least unusual.
When sections of the document are enlarged significantly, we discover glaring inconsistencies. For instance, it appears the date stamped on the document has been altered. Moreover, the document contains text, numbers, and lines with suspicious white borders indicating these items were pasted from the original scan and dropped over a background image of green paper.

There are two elements of interest, as shown in the image to the above – both entries for the date accepted by the local registry. This appears to have been modified in an image editing program.
The media was quick to dispel the fact the document was modified. “Our analysis of the latest controversy: The original birth certificate was probably in a ‘negative’ form, and someone at the White House took it upon themselves to doctor it up so the form can be readable,” writesJoe Brooks for Wireupdate.
Nathan Goulding, writing for the National Review, tells us anybody can open the White House released PDF in Illustrator and it will break out into layers. “I’ve confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home,” he writes.
Indeed, but this does not answer the question why in the obama birth certificate PDF the layers or elements contain dates – which appear to be modified – and the signature of the state registrar. If the document was acquired from state records in whole, why was it necessary to add elements? Goulding and Brooks do not address this issue.
These layers are also revealed by the White House issued PDF’s hex file in freeware hex editor. Within its code are listed 8 image masks, which if changed from value “true” to “false” turn off and on to reveal the layers as demonstrated in the video and in Illustrator. Whether these represent compression artifacts or other digitizing processes, or whether these masks represent deliberate manipulation remains to be conclusively shown.

As Market-Ticker.org points out, it may prove to be significant that two of the boxes appear over both of the “date accepted” boxes, as well as the “Mother’s occupation box.” Was there a need to tamper with the dates on the document or other areas? The recent stamp date and issuing signature of the state registrar also contain an edited layer.
Questions have also been raised about the number at the top of the document issued by the Department of Health, number 61 10641, as one part of the number is in a separate layer when viewed in Illustrator, as demonstrated in the video above. This may prove to be significant. A long form birth certificate obtained by the Honolulu Star in 2009 from a female born one day after obama and whose form was accepted three days after obama’s document contains a Dept. of Health number that is lower, 61 10637. There are other subtle differences, such as the use of “Aug.” for the date rather than “August,” and the use of “Honolulu, Oahu” rather than “Honolulu, Hawaii” (seen also in the 1962 certificate below) which may or may not be significant.
More to the point, this certificate and others, like the one posted below it, have visible seals. No issuing seal can be seen on the document released today by obama.

Infowars will continue to analyze this issue as more information comes in. It is significant that the obama Administration was pressured into responding to this controversy, whatever the final analysis of this document. However, the administration still needs to release his other records which have been sealed at great expense. Is there an issue with his being naturalized in Indonesia? Why are his college records at Columbia and Occidental sealed, and what do they contain? Did obama travel to Pakistan on a foreign passport? These questions and many others have not been properly answered.
